WJEB TV 59 IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER STATION HISTORY:
Jacksonville
Educators Broadcasting, Incorporated (JEB) is the permit tee of
noncommercial educational television stations WJEB, Jacksonville,
Florida and WTCE TV 21 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Both stations
provide expanded educational, cultural and instructional
programming.
These
stations provide general educational programming designed to assist
applicants in acquiring a General Equivalency Degree. In additional,
develop partnerships with local colleges and universities in
providing opportunities for internships and hands-on training in
many types of careers as well as develop partnerships with community
services in the area of healthcare and drug prevention and
intervention.
WJEB TV 59
began its noncommercial educational programming May 14, 1991.
Followed by an agreement between Trinity Broadcasting Network and
JEB for Christian programming on July 17. 1991.
The
station is located at 3101 Emerson Expressway five minutes from
downtown Jacksonville and one mile east of Interstate 95. (Please
